Why we started our company
Our company was born from a desire to create minimalist-designed candles and home decor that exude sophistication. Frustrated by the same old glass jars and the stubborn stickers that never come off—often ending up in landfills—we set out to craft candles that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also burn safely and are refillable.
We designed our own concrete vessels to break away from the ordinary, offering a sleek, modern look that’s free from the hassles of sticky labels and easy to refill, providing a sustainable and stylish option for your home.

Caroline's story
Caroline Calvert is a seasoned product developer and designer with over 20 years of experience creating innovative, high-quality products. Her passion for crafting concrete candles emerged from a desire to address common issues with traditional candles, such as the toxic chemicals found in wax and fragrances, as well as the waste generated by discarded glass jars. With a strong foundation in applied design and a deep commitment to safety and aesthetics, Caroline has perfected her craft, creating candles that are not only functional and visually striking but also made with safe-burning coconut wax, essential oils, and premium fragrances—while being refillable to reduce waste.
Today, Caroline’s handcrafted candles transform any space into a warm, stylish, and safe sanctuary. She resides in the scenic seaside community of Tsawwassen, BC, where the natural beauty and vibrant local culture inspire her work. When she’s not designing, Caroline enjoys exploring her community, seeking fresh sources of creative inspiration, and spending cherished time with her family.
